Have you ever thinked if suddently someone (or YOU) is struck by lighting, when you are crossing a swamp an it's raining and when you are crossing the desert and there's suddently a hurricane, that it should be adde to Kenshi? I really like weather, especially when it rains for big battles. Also, if your character feels tired or unhappy it can fight or work worse, but if he feels happy or satisfied he can work or fight better. Also, what if you could make the personality for our own character and his face changes when something happens like when he is hit or eats? I don't want to see someone with no personality AT ALL. Also when my character eats, I want to see him happy or something like that. Also, I hope that there is like a chance to work wiht clay and stuff and make bowls and other thing for the civil life. What do you think? I think that the Weather is going to be on, that wold be cool to atack only when it rans and if it has or not an impact on my troops, depending on what they like and don't like. So, back to you.

I believe MrSuck thinks that the game will be a macro-scale country simulator rather than a (and I quote the kenshi webpage here) "Free-roaming squad based RPG".

This feature would require a ton of work. But having a model that would change the surroundings over time might prove useful in a game. This would change how the world works over time. Perhaps the world could be scripted to be the same for every game for the first 100 days and afterwards it's randomly generated or something to make it easier at first. But the possibilities are endless. Also you could create Thunder and lightning strikes something that would affect randomly. Rain could boost your crops and they will grow without the water supply.

At least add sandstorms, and dust spouts (dust tornadoes). I also was thinking you should add an arid spot like Eastern Washington because having several different kinds of desert might not be so boring if you kept it various deserts--then it might be more interesting because how many games feature all the kinds of deserts you can see?
Sandstorms would cause people to take cover and damage your equipment and buildings. This would force you to repair regroup. (Most of the bandits would die.) Therefore the bonus would be a great period of time before they regenerate and try to kill you.
