Would be nice to be able to replace buildings.

Starting build location gets crowded quickly, so replacing some buildings might help.
Now some of my workers have to walk around object because they are to tightly build next to each other.

After putting 58 hours into it I would like to beable to move character icons in the bottem middle of the screen (black head, white background). Also a damage meter. The white and black icon could turn red from bottem to top the more blood they loss. This way you can tell if someone is looseing blood wial your looking somewhere else. Renameing of characters and maybe even the looks (after the first time).

Leave the game in a state that will make it easly modable. I can see this gameing haveing a huge moding comunity once its released. This will help extend the games life as well as peaple telling others what new mods they added and getting them exited about buying and playing the game also.

Control groups 1-9 would be important.
Fixing Walls/defence/turrets/range?
Fixing merchants, cant seem to get them to buy anything.
Make your own pub to recruit your own characters/players whatever there called.
Some sort of quest system, or overlying objective of any kind.
Multiplayer even if it is just LAN.
A monetary system involving a spreadsheet, simple or non simple. example, You hire x amount of units @ 100 C per week or month or day. You gain + 200 C per week, etc, based off of bakery, or armor smith, or any type of export. Some sort of automated system, Owning assets, etc.
I would also say fixing pathfinding, graphics, overall game mechanics, and speed of game. Have alot of bugging down once i get to tech lvl 4+ and 13+ squad members
Love the game so far guys keep it up!
Any implementation to the combat system! Love the hit areas tho, and bleeding top notch!

A good part of those are planned features or planned to deal with, multyplayer will not be present, at least no plans for it now.

About the salary, someone suggested that and Chris himself answered, but i not sure now where it is, but i ll try to find later, he said something explaining, the ones that you recruit, are not like soldiers which are being payed to fight for you, they are rather comrades which join your cause, and to pay them would "take that element", somthing around this sides lol.

If you mean get X money from a building, you wrong there, it s what you do with the building that will bring youincome, not just having the building alone, that s part of the trading, fo now you gota micromanage it, the selling and production, not sure if in the future wil be totaly automated or not with auto trading routs.

We creating the globe now?

I think Chris's idea of 'multiple biomes' is more 80-90% land (mix of dessert, grassland, forrest, rockey or mountain areas and maybe snow) then with some lakes and oasises and rivers.

remeber that chris doesnt have alot of resource so making oceans & islands fit in with everything would use alot of what chris does have.

One thing I have always been annoyed with in RTS games is the scope of the map. Its always just a part of the world. I would love a game that lets you roam the entire planet. Just think of it, you could have so many different types of zones (jungle, desert, high plains, ect...) If you run into the ocean or large bodies of water, the option for water travel and all the dangers associated with that. I do realize that to do some thing like this would be very massive and consuming. Maybe this could be done as DLC's and the people who want this type of feature would pay for it. I know I would.

But, if it were done, what a game! Anyway, that's my thought, do with it what you will :D

It would be nice to have a massive scale world (provided it had a map unlike minecraft)
but something like that is to big to have as DLC, It would need to be a full expansion to the game.
another problem of a large world is the detail you put in. Not only is it extremely time consuming to add the same detail for a small world into a large world but it increases the requirements and is very hard to do correctly.

Chris said that he is changing the look of the map along with adding the biomes, so im guessing the map is going to look alot differant to what it is now, probably alot biger to.
But if people still want it bigger and Chris agrees. I think the best way to do that would be with expansions that join onto the world and expand its borders.

One thing that I think would be cool is to spawn circling vultures after a battle has finished. The bigger the battle, the more vultures. That would be a great sign for looters looking for corpses to steal from. At the moment it can be difficult seeing far enough away if there are any bodies in the distance.

About weapons and formations:

I've already seen a few posts regarding formations, but most seem to ask for complicated stuff like formations that affect combat or the like... all I want is a little cosmetic improvement: Whenever I send my guys somewhere, they end up standing on top of each other. What first got me into Kenshi was a scene of three people walking next to each other through the desert... but if I wanna recreate something like that, it's unneccesarily complicated (first I have to place each one individually, pause the game, then send each one individually to the location where i want him to go, and THEN they walk the way I want them to). That's why, something like formations would be great. You dont even need to think of any yourself, just give us the option to place our units the way we always want them to stand, and then have some feature like "lock formation", which makes them assume that position (relative to each other) wherever they go. I think something like that shouldn't be hard to implement either...

Secondly, regarding the weapon suggestions:
Since the whole idea of Kenshi is about swords, I think those should definitely stay the most common and the strongest weapons around, but maybe to add some kind of diversity, how about:
1) Clubs: hungry bandits already carry something like that, I'd just like to see some more variety and maybe some special combat animations (not the same as for swords). of course the would be weaker than swords (similar to hackers, maybe even just different hacker skins, something you give your low thugs)
2) Naginata: they could be similar to heavy swords, maybe a little faster and less powerful. I'd really like to see those because they look really awesome, and I want one of my 3 main characters to have one ;)
Also, Naginata don't look/work too different from swords, so they would fit well with the swordfight animations.
3) Spears: Somebody suggested these for group tactics, an idea that I'm not really fond of... Since (at least in my opinion) Kenshi is more about one on one fights. Again, I can only suggest Naginatas in their stead.
4) Ranged Weapons: I personally think that primitive guns (and maybe some kind of explosives, to destroy walls and structures) would fit much better into the aesthetics of Kenshi than bows, but I see the problem of them overpowering swords (arrows can be repelled, bullets can't), which is definitely not what I want.
5) Robotic limb-replacements: I've read that this idea has been discarded, because the world is supposed to be too low tech, but... seriously, who the hell cares? Automail (Fullmetal Alchemist Style! :D ) would be so awesomely sick! Please keep at least considering the possibility!

Hey, I'm kind of new, and all, to the forms, but I've been playing the game for hours, and I'd skip sex for it, but I do suggest adding shuriken (The cool ninja stars.) in the game, and have a sorcerer class, so they can be like the Shaolin Monks, they should automatically have a high martial arts, and damage skill, also they should take 17% less damage from swords that aren't blunt. There should be woman in the game for reproduction in villages so like if there in another faction, or what not, and the whole village, or parents get slain by bandits, or the player, they would take revenge by killing the player, or trying to wipe out the entire faction, like they both get armies, and the offspring of the dead ones grow up they start there own faction, and get together a big army, and have a war, if you add explosives in the game, there should be tons of it packing in the war, now where the player comes into play with this the leader will higher random people in the game, and you get to choose yes, or no, and choose your price, then you can run off leaving them with your cats, and they will try hunting you down with ninjas (Assassins.) and you'll be wanted alive, or dead, and get taken prisoner, and forced have all of your limbs broke, and given some gold, and dropped off near a town; This is really less of a suggestion, and more of some ideas, but I doubt this will be taken in consideration, I also suggest there be factions where you can gain trust by doing assassinations with your own squad, and be able to join them.

It would be great if yo could implement new animations for each station, so a person isn't mining a research bench. Also it would be nice to be able to said up an automated caravan so you don't have to follow them around.

P.S Great game I'm loving it so far can't wait for the next update.
