Broken rental beds 0.50.1

Hi,

After I imported my squad to a new game I cant seem to use beds in towns. The charactars will run towards it and it will say "this bed isn't mine." Does anyone know a quick fix for this?

I have tried buying a house in a town and then research beds to sleep in there, but i cant research beds because I dont have a research bank and cant build a research bank because i need more research?

Then I bought a larger house were some Citizen was walkin in where I could not sleep aswell, as that bed wasn't mine either... But I really did pay the 28.000....

So my game is kinda broken now, I can't heal up in a town, and you all know that when a guy has a highly damaged leg it will take him ages to run from 1 town to another.... And then finding out he cant sleep there aswell is really killing the mood if you know what I mean... I can sometimes sleep in some towns though.

Thanks for the great game though, it looks really promising... But I think ill lay it down for a bit again and wait for the finished product... The music is a great touch and the sound effects are great aswell!

Little add to it:

The rental bed place are always on private when I cant sleep there and public when i can.

It could be because of the wars going on lately I guess...

Yep...I have the same problem too...bleh...just as I got the time to seriously play the game with the new update. I wonder if it's due to game error or just because the game is in its unfinished form...

I have also had this same problem. I started a game a couple days ago. The town I started on, I could not interact at all with any of the beds, and they seemed to be sunken into the floor. I went across the desert to the next town, and the beds worked fine. Went out on a training run, and when I came back to heal, my guys would just bounce out of the bed and announce it wasn't theirs.

Then the big one, went to the next town, and got attacked by some bandits. My main character was knocked out (Which wasn't hard because it had been forever since any of my guys had a chance to heal). My second carried him to town. Tested the bed with my third guy and it worked. Went to place my main character into the bed, and he just stood up and announced it wasn't his bed. Then started walking in place forever hovering above the bed. Wouldn't move, couldn't get up, I couldn't even click on anything while he was selected.

I finally just had to import my squad into a new game to fix it.

same probs here i cant sleep in the beds in towns as it just says these aint my beds even after ive spoke with the vender dude. Highy annoying and hope its fixed ASAP

Yea, this definitely needs to be a high priority. The only way I've found to be able to use beds again is to import the party into a new game. I've had it happen three times to the same party now and it's really becoming a game breaker. I love this game, and can deal with random crashes and other bugs that require a re-load to fix like people getting stuck and whatnot. Those kind of bugs are to be expected at this stage, but this bug makes the game unplayable.

It's not a fix for the issue, but you could save up money and buy an empty house in each town that you frequent and build beds in them. That's what I did. Simply looting a few dust bandit groups gives you enough money to do so.
