Medic Bug

Sometimes my characters will say "I need a medkit" or "I don't have a medkit" when I tell them to heal others/themselves but they do have a medkit. I've tried dropping and picking up again but that didn't work, I think if i restart the game it might work but I haven't tried yet.

Edit: Turns out the medkits were actually robotic repair kits :/

if you put the medkit inside a backpack, they wont be able to heal
