Hey everyone! Another fresh recruit here. I just saw the game on GamersGate and was immediately sold on the concept. Bought it blind and am very happy with it so far. I was one of the first to pick up Mount&Blade, and I am looking forward to following another great game in its development.

By the way, this is what sold me entirely:
"You join up as just one more rookie and are thrown into huge battles."
The "join the army" - part is something I have always wanted in a game. I have been looking for an RPG that does not treat my character as special but just as one of many, forcing me to actually work for success! Needless to say, army implementation is the thing I am looking forward to the most :D

Cheers,
Furby

Welcome to Kenshi, this forum had an introduction thread but it is kinda buried. What sold me was three things, micro-management (base building and army forming) rpg (you have skills) and the fact that every character is completely costomizable.
A voice in your computer's memory that refuses to go away. Now with 15% more (side notes!)

What sold me was that i can finally be a nobody doing his own business.

I'm sick of saving the world, especially since it puts itself into danger again each time i look away :|

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

What sold me was the fact that I can now see myself in its loser form and have to work for something awesome.... like a 58g straight cleaver being swung around like a wrecking ball. Gotta say my characters arm is the size of a pencil... underestimating skills increase every battle XD

58g isn't much at all. I have a piece of chocolate next top me that is heavier than that. 58KG on the other hand might be a bit more of a challenge.

Even american dates are strange. They put day/month/year where i am from. Descending order, makes sense. Random order doesn't. ;)

I got mixed up a bit after first seeing(And being forced to use in legal documents) the American style of writing the dates but now, it's like that style was with me since I was a kid.

I am australian, but I could be from europe or most parts of asia and not use the american style. They don't use it in Japan where I live currently. Its kinda hard when reading dates that don't go above the 12th. I never know if its american or not. Can be difficult.

No offense to any Americans here.

Lol There are many educated Americans however the media only chooses to portray the idiots that happen to be famous. Made famous by their idiotic "accomplishments" (ie: Jersey Shore, MTV, reality shows, etc)

What I meant was, that they spell Colour as Color, and Armour as Armor for spelling, They say Aluminum instead of Aluminium and so on.

Let's make a pact.

If anyone of us discovers some new element, it shall be named Beardium! (Catsium only if you pronounce it like Catsup)
