So, what do we got to do to know this awesome way? 3 easy steps first of which would be to click on changeyourlife dot org link, then for a small fee of only 658$ set up a highly secure and profitable bank account with Royal Bank of Scotland at RoyalBS dot com dot uk ?
I don't know what method you are making sound so big a secret, but the first thing I do with a new character is mine enough to buy a house in a town with guards, research and add container for said ore type, set up jobs to haul to container and mine while stealth. builds stealth, athleticism and labor at the same time. Must not be encumbered or you will get strength and sacrifice stealth. I like being able to stealth and run away when I need too. Usually my first skills to raise. If you need to train more than one, just have them follow in stealth, always path back and forth by gate guards. I also tend to start with a skeleton now just so I don't need to worry about food in the start.
Sho-Battai has the safest copper node I know of, enough to leave it running while you go do something else, Buy the longhouse for smoothest pathing. The only other house there is larger, but something about pathing to that house from the gate or pathing from the longhouse causes your character to go just inside a shop door, and I've had characters actually go through the door and get stuck inside if the door is closed at night. Fortunately my stealth was high enough that the guard and shop keeper didn't see me while they unlocked the door in the morning.
I use to think Squin was great with its copper node inside the city walls, but the guards are always name calling at zero faction and are known to occasionally kill outsiders just for the heck of it, even if you are Shek.

since OP doesn't want to share, i will. EZ Stealth 101:
Step 1) Build a prisoner cage
Step 2) Make it not empty
Step 3) Stand in front of Prisoner Cage (Occupied)
Step 4) Pop a sneaky squat
Step 5) Profit
For extra gainz, build skill training points nearby, you can train sneak and a dummy skill at the same time.

You can sneak while in the jobs queue. Stealth and have him haul ore or something. Every passing patrol (or caged enemy) will train your stats. Even better, overburden him for strength XP at the same time!
And now I am become Flame.
I was not aware you gained pts while standing still...Ill have to try that.
Step 1) Build a prisoner cage, will work best if outside in an open unobstructed area. But can even use a large roof.
Step 2) Put a prisoner in it
Step 3) get 2 or more chars u want to train to stand next to the cage
Step 4) assign each char you have there you want to have auto train a bodyguard job for at least one of the other chars your setting up to train.
Step 5) put each one in sneak mode. And pretty much ignore them, checking every 30 minutes or so.
Make sure each has food enough for the time period you wish for them to train. If they run off to a food source, you'll have to reset the sneak modes.
They train up the first 30 to 40 pts fairly fast. The higher the skill goes, the more time it takes though.
You dont want to encumber the chars,as this creates a penalty to sneak training.Once your done training sneak, you can though max encumber the chars and use this method to str train, simply dont put them in sneak mode.

I can auto-train my stealth the same way I often auto-train my strength.
You want at least 2 characters to follow each other (You can use body guard as well, but follow works too). They will walk in a big circle, if something blocks their path they may stop moving but with enough room or in the right area they will walk in circles forever. If you do this outside a town wall for example, you will be able to quickly train stealth without micro (if you don't have prisoner cages). Or you could do it inside, the snail buildings you find being used as bars work great when you go to the 2nd floor's outside roof, but it is tight for the auto follow and they may get stuck on corners.
To switch over to strength training just load them up with some heavy items and they will strength train too (though as mentioned you can get a penalty)
In general, I don't need to auto-train stealth, you can train it pretty quick when you find a hostile patrol and stalk behind it for a day and you can get to 40 stealth. That plus good stealth gear and you have enough stealth to sneak into most ancient labs.
