Hey folks,

I'm loving Kenshi, on it's own, there is allot to explore and things to do.
So I don't want to seem like i'm bashing the creators of the game; Kenshi is definitely in my top 10 best games list.

But the problem is stability and optimization, of course there is bugs as well and I hope Lo-Fi Continue knocking out patches.
That they have an Egosoft philosophy of supporting their games long after release like Egosoft keep patching their games years after release.

But I've found Kenshi to be very 'unstable' when playing on Steam, I would start up a saved game and the game would crash because it just buckles under the strain of loading up all it's assets. And when you have split your squad and have them on opposite sides of the World, loading up another location can be too much for the game to handle mid/late stages of the game when you have a sizeable squad and a Settlement or 2.

The only solutions i've found that offer me the most stable playthrough possible is.

- Switching Steam to 'Offline Mode'
This of course comes at a price as access to Steam Workshop Mods will not work
- Switching off my Anti-Virus software.
Which again leaves me vulnerable to virus infections.
- Verifying the 'Integrity of Game Files'
Eventually the top 2 solutions aren't enough as the game is prone to breaking down and needs files re-verifying to which it fixes around 10 missing files each time I do it. (I use visual enhancement mods) So they might be what Steam is detecting.

It's a shame as there are mods on the Steam Workshop that you can't get on the Nexus so they can't be used.
I feel I should of bought Kenshi on GOG, but they have no modding community.
