exactly what parts of a charecters inventory is lootable? personally, i think everything the charecter is wearing and posesses on his person should be takeable, few things irk me as much as killing a guy wearing or holding exactly what you want, but you pick up whatever the game says spawned on death (im looking at you, neverwinter nights and dragon age)
so, yeah, can you loot corpses blind? to be honest, im expecting you can, based on what ive read, but itd be nice to confirm
mini-question about loot

Yeah you can. I hate that in dragon age, everything you kill, even bloody wolves, have exactly one cheap item on them and nothing else.
hell yes!
*high five*
on a related note (dont worry, i will run out of questions eventually, i swear)
after a large battle, do you have to manually loot everything, or can you just set your people to loot and load up into whatever your using for transportation?

yeah I intend to make an auto-loot, and an auto-heal.
Looting wont be too profitable except early in the game. You cant carry massive amounts of loot, especially armour, and most average guys have cheap gear, and stores wont pay much for it. Good looting comes from stealing, or raiding major faction buildings and storehouses. There are better ways to make money, unlike most rpgs.
