Whenever I start Kenshi it immediately crashes and gives me an error: "Failed to load render system. You probably need to install the june 2010 directX runtimes located in the dependencies folder"
I looked in the dependencies folder and ran the DXSETUP.exe file. My issue is still occurring, and I've looked everywhere online to no avail.
Help is much appreciated, thanks.
Game crashes on startup.

Sometimes the directx installer failed to install all the required files for some bizarre reason.
Check if you have both d3dx11_43.dll and d3dcompiler_43.dll present in your c:\windows\system32\ folder.
It is possible to manually extract them from the cab files in the dependencies folder if they didn't install properly.

Thanks for the reply! I checked my system32 folder and both files are present. Would I need to replace them, as they might be corrupted? If so, what steps do I take? Thanks.someone wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 6:11 pmSometimes the directx installer failed to install all the required files for some bizarre reason.

Hmm, I suggest using dependency walker to determine the actual error.
Open RenderSystem_Direct3D11_x64.dll with this: https://github.com/lucasg/Dependencies/ ... _Debug.zip and it should tell you what is wrong.

Can't find that file for some reason. I've tried messing with my graphics drivers to no avail. Still unable to play unfortunately.someone wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 4:53 pmHmm, I suggest using dependency walker to determine the actual error.
