Is my character dead?

Just wondering since my character has been lying on the ground with the only health bar for head being under 0 and its only -1, I just thought I'd wait it out but it hasn't changed much apart from when it was around -5 going to -1. I don't have any other members except this one (was trying solo and was going pretty good till now lol) so I guess I either start again or maybe there's a way I can be revived. Hopefully its the latter.

Does not work like that, head chest and stomach, if bellow 0 and no way to heal, it s a goner, not dead but you can call dead, only blood auto heals.

Lame oh well I guess that's just 10 hours of gameplay down the toilet I don't mind though I had a really good squad but started a new game from scratch because well they were too good and it got boring lol at least this keeps me occupied.

Never really had that Problem before, i've had my main character
s chest and head fall to -5-15 and hes recovered.

Hmmm well I guess I could wait it out then again I did wait around 20 minutes before wondering what was up with my character with the fastest speed aswell but I kinda don't wanna lose this guy I only did start him today but he can basically outrun everyone and take on around 6-8 dust bandits solo which is pretty badass compared to my full squad of people that was only good in groups lol

Maybe you had him patch over before he felt down, and had a chance to heal.

That s why is good to always have a medic even at the distance(hidden in a citty till you need and so on) just to heal you up in those situations, unless you wnat to go really hardcore and death is the end.

Well my guy died carrying some random corpse and crap loads of armor to improve his strength while being chased by I think 8 dust bandits xD and you know how you tell your character to just walk forward and after I dunno about 2 minutes he thinks "Right these guys are following I must attack" well he did that and died while I was looking at the map lol, and so I just thought alright I guess he'll get up soon so I save and yeah still waiting for him to get up, oh and yeah I guess you could call it hardcore being him the only person in my squad, I did pretty well till now I made a sand ninja jounin follow me while carrying one from town to town trying to find a police station and avoiding anything that would draw the attention of the jounin it took a good 45 minutes lol and lots and lots of quick load/saving.

Edit: I know how this game is about survival and all but I wish at least one person in the town Im dead in someone would just be like on look a dead guy on the ground and heal me then charge me afterwards lol I wouldn't mind I have 38k cc to waste on nothing atm.

If the bar entirely red and you're still in negative, congratulations, you died.

No there is something wrong with this version where you will not ever heal if one of your stats goes negative. This version is broken

Oh yeah I gave up on that character awhile back, with a bit of save data editing I've managed to copy over his states in a new game, but hes still dead lol, I also tried just editing his head status bar but kenshi just basically crashes lol. I started again and with a bit of harsh training (running out of town into a group of 8 hungry bandits lol over and over) I've managed to get my guy incredibly strong in a short amount of time, and hes incredibly rich too and still solo, I wonder how long he'll last.

No there is something wrong with this version where you will not ever heal if one of your stats goes negative. This version is broken

I've had people go negative and been able to patch them up, so either there is something going on with your game or, its user error that you didn't have anyone to save him.

Well I said before that my character was the only one in the squad but yeah I've started a new game and I don't really care about him anymore because this character despite being solo again has twice the awesomeness my last character did, yeah it is my fault for not hiring a medic or any other character for that matter but its basically playing hardcore being a solo character taking on groups of bandits, ninjas, samurai and the holy empire (the holy sword campaign thing).
