First off this guide maybe a bit different for anyone that uses blender 2.5 and above I'm sorry I just don't use it and I'll probably in the future but I'm more comfortable with it and thats just how stubborn I am lol but the concept should be the same on how you do everything so hopefully it still helps people that use the newer version of Blender.
Alright so onto the tutorial this is an example of one of my textures it's bad sure but I only quickly made it I'll definitely change it later lol but its just an example of how to set out your object textures.
So with that note the next thing is to show you how to set up blender and then make a texture for it.
And the last bit because I can't upload more than 3 attachments lol is here sorry about it being scaled but yeah its just so its not too cut off hopefully you can see what I tried to zoom in on
Now after playing around with it you should get something like what I got (It takes awhile trust me but its worth it down the line when you go to texture it) what I do is using the numpad switch between top, side and bottom views to get the faces matched to the right spot just so you don't select something thats already been set.

To save the file go to UV then to Scripts and the Save UV Face Layout. Sorry if the picture is too small.
That last bit is just to save the file as an external texture file it saves it in .tga and you can just open it up in photoshop or in my case paint.net (I only use paint.net to save it as a .dds file) now just remember to put it in the right spot which should be somewhere in your kenshi folder but yeah you're done!
I hope this small tutorial helped someone and in case I forget to explain something more could someone just tell me and I'll at it into the tutorial!
Anyways happy texturing!
