While this is my first post, I did not expect a problem from BMT Micro, so I have to address it with haste.
Recently received order confirmation and key from BMT Micro, quoted for convenience:
I underlined ##REGKEY2## to point out that the registration key for Steam apparently did not generate. Not sure how that happened. Snipped off the 1st key for obvious reasons. This is your order number! Whats it for? I don't know! 2014-1203-0117-19-308
Now go download the game from the link below:
http://www.indiedb.com/games/kenshi/dow ... enshi-0296
But if you have the demo, that's the full version. Just add the key. No need to download it again. I should have told you that first, before I made you download the game again. Hahar!
Keep your key code, it has unlimited activations forever, even after the game is finished. I won't have no evil DRM system on my ship! No sir!
Don't lose your key code!
Load up kenshi and enter your key like this (copy and paste it):
*snip*
You just paid for that key code. How silly! You probably could have pirated it instead! But you didn't. Respect. I will use that money to hire the greatest game artist that ever lived, you have just added awesomeness to the game. Be proud! Hold your head up high for you are a man of honour!
Seriously, don't lose your key code. *glare*
Also, because I am so benevolent and handsome, you get a free Steam key!
##REGKEY2##
To use it, go to [Games]->[Activate a product on Steam] and paste that code in. You'll still need the 1st code when Kenshi starts up though.
May your beard see 100 years of health.
I paid by physical mail to BMT Micro on December 4th. (I'm one of those sort of people.
I might forward the problem to BMT Micro Orders at the next day if I feel the need to.
Edit: Mail send date mismatch. Whoops.
