I seen an interesting video from Reuters Technology section about mini-robots used for search and rescue missions. These robots work in swarms (like *CENSORED*) and are about the size of an iphone. Here is the URL.

The first five minutes shows the swarm playing musical instruments.

The thought of swarms of flying iphones used for searching really does not sit well for me.

So, what other crazy technologies are out there?

Though I understand that this is a Yahoo.com article, I for some reason have a thought of WTF in my head. Good thing I only game on PC. (Its not like google,ATT,Microsoft,Steam, or anyone else monitors my system). Great now congress can F**** up cyber space too. :|

Please note: This is not intended to be a political rant topic, but rather about the idea of console monitoring itself.

Perhaps there looking for console hackers because there already done with PC. I hope there not looking and reading through peoples chats but instead looking for keywords and watching certain people that are both justified and warrented to be watched like telephone tapping.

Intresting robots, very effective for search and rescue hopefully they get put to alot of good use. It would certainly be interesting if the same style of technology can be put into other things, vehicles, large aircraft, Military would undoutably have uses for it.

If used properly, the console traffic monitor can be a very effective tool. Its stated purpose was to find paedophiles and hackers,Interestingly enough however it cannot be utilized on American Nationals. As long as it is utilized for actual good, it is ok.

As for the mini robot swarm.....all I know is that I want one.
