{"id":301,"date":"2012-09-24T15:58:04","date_gmt":"2012-09-24T15:58:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lofigames.com\/?p=301"},"modified":"2014-09-03T10:03:38","modified_gmt":"2014-09-03T10:03:38","slug":"update-0-29-0-weight-and-encumbrance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lofigames.com\/zh\/update-0-29-0-weight-and-encumbrance\/","title":{"rendered":"UPDATE 0.29.0: WEIGHT AND ENCUMBRANCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s a new update for those who haven&#8217;t noticed yet.\u00a0 0.29 adds encumbrance to the game, so if you notice all your characters can only walk slowly now, then you need to lighten their inventories.<\/p>\n<p>I think in the next update I will raise the lower limit for carry weight, I don&#8217;t want the player to spend all their time crawling slowly along and getting bored.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here are the changes:<\/p>\n<p><strong>0.29.0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Encumbrance has an effect now. Your inventory and gear will weigh you down, making you move slower. How much you can carry depends on your strength.<\/li>\n<li>Strength is also increased by walking about with a heavy inventory.\u00a0 The heavier it is, the faster the increase.<\/li>\n<li>Your encumbrance is shown in the inventory window.<\/li>\n<li>The stats panel in the corner shows you if you are gaining strength or athletics XP based on your encumbrance.<\/li>\n<li>Better look closely at your inventory now to see what you can still carry.\u00a0 If you are one of those sneaky people with a shopkeepers backpack, you might want to get rid of it now.<\/li>\n<li>Athletics skill is now functional.\u00a0 Running at full speed without any encumbrance will improve it faster.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>FIXES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inventory item icons now have transparency<\/li>\n<li>Fixed the bug where 100&#8217;s of caravan traders could swarm around an area.\u00a0 If you have this you will need to import to a new game to get rid of them.\u00a0 Or kill them all.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed another dialog system bug where you could hire Wingwang for free.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug where you couldn&#8217;t lock your doors<\/li>\n<li>Fixed the bug where you sometimes couldn&#8217;t loot bodies<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s a new update for those who haven&#8217;t noticed yet.\u00a0 0.29 adds encumbrance to the game, so if you notice all your characters can only walk slowly now, then you need to lighten their inventories.
