A short while ago, I noticed an updated cover picture on the board index shortcut.
The shadow had the similar features of a female, but now it isn't there anymore.

WHERE IS IT T.T?

There were boobies in-game but chris removed them because they were horrifying. (yes, HORRIFYING)
Since he has just recently hired an 'artist/modeller/whatever these guys are called' he has redone the male model, designed some building art (like wells) and will work on the female model soon. Boobies will make a return to kenshi.

Actually the artist could work into more productive things, like making new building and stuff, having a female its not that important

Hence why the female model isn't done just yet. Priorites, but chris does want girls in this game.

As for that black and white kenshi picture I have my own theory. It is a person in the dark who is holding a railing and looking for the light switch.(Now look at the picture again.you tell me)
