0.27.0
Description:
I noticed a few really minor thingies in 0.27.0, but they are so small they really, really don't need a thread of their own. Still, figured i might just as well make a single thread to list them in.
List of minor issues:
Options
- "Invert Mouse" doesn't seem to work no matter what is selected. Mousing left remains left and mousing right remains right.
- "Hardware Mouse" is invisible on my screen when selected, both in windowed and fullscreen mode. (Guess this is just driver related)
Gameplay
- Characters placed in a bed register as conscious on the character panel, even if they are still out cold. You can actually try to move them but once you do they immediately collapse next to the bed and cannot move unless manually put back in by another squad member.
- When placing a carried character in a bed from certain angles (Mostly when standing at an edge) the carried character is sometime catapulted next to the bed and lands on the floor quite a bit away.
- Fairly sure that this as already been reported since i noticed this in earlier releases as well: Medics don't apply splints anymore.
- When placing a character in "blocking" mode combined with "stay" it often happens that the char and his enemy become locked in a situation where neither party moves or attacks (They just keep standing, only way to counter is moving your character closer to the enemy and risk a hit).
Interface
- (Screenshot: Popup.jpg) When opening the inventory, an item detail popup will appear in the top left hand corner of the screen, without any information in it (It will immediately start to fade). However, if your cursor happens to be on an item if you open the inventory it will stick around, along with the correct popup that displays that items information. Naturally, the red border and arrow were added by me
- When entering a new faction name on the map screen, the game still reacts to key shortcuts. So any name with an "M" in it closes the map and thus the faction screen where you were entering the name.
Pathfinding
- NPC's at times don't seem to understand they are inside a building. One of my characters was carrying an unconscious sand ninja into the Brink town outpost, to put him on the bed in there. Yet if my characters are inside the outpost and the door of the outpost is closed afterwards (Behind them), the command to lay the sand ninja on the bed results in the carrier running to the door to open it (Even though they are inside where the beds are). Once the door is open - and only then - they will lay the injured enemy on the bed. Same happens when one is ordered to pickup a comrade or when one is ordered to lay on the bed themselves (Former causes same behavior, latter just causes the character to stand still)
