Hahaha thanks. Oh btw I doubt the games are redone to work on modern systems Because Dungeon Keeper 2 looks like this on my laptop http://www.mediafire.com/view/?dei9ujricxlk3ym yet when I had the original disk it worked perfectly on a full resolution... Which makes me hate myself for loosing it 2 years ago D":

Dungeon keeper 2 is a well known fuck up. The rest are redone. using my previous example of Constructor, this is an old dos game from 1993 (I think?) and it works perfectly on windows 7.

I'm not sure if anyone ever found out the price. FTL will be $10 according to their website news release.

http://www.ftlgame.com/?p=378

And will be on steam apparently. The people who manage the 'new releases' of steam confuse me. they put absolute crap in the list months before it ever comes out and then some titles just sneak out a release date. Maybe you need to pay them extra to get a mention...maybe the people who do the list just don't give a *CENSORED*.

So basically just like Kenshi. And since it will be on steam I will probably be able to buy it! To be honest $10 seems totally worth it.

Hahah Blxz trust me. You will defiantly enjoy the game, glad you will buy it. I guess it is something you can play while waiting for Kenshi to be finished

It is so repetitive though. I've played about 6 games or so and its just the same in each game. Not counting random events of course. It's just scrap whoring and waiting battles with the occasions fire to put out. And that final boss is insane.

I kinda wish that there was no overarching storyline either and I could just explore space at my leisure. Maybe a mod or an expansion in the near future?

You are so right. It seemed like a great game so I tried to find out more but the more I knew, more boring the game became. It is just going forward with nothing new actually happening. If it were open galaxy I could go anywhere I wanted I had already bought it. Enemy ships that chase you in the game kind of ruins the game. Also more stuff to do would be good like building own spaceship from scrap or at least choose where to put different rooms. (sry bout my english and lack of words.)

Yes anyone expecting something even remotely complex will be disapointed, it's something i play for 15-20 mins every now and then, and for that it's great i think (it's not like Rogue-like games are supposed to last for hours anyways).. I bet we'll see FTL 2 kickstarter within 6 months, and that it will be more complex and open-world, there's a lot of requests for it on their forums.

I've been playing the past few days, the first time I played it I got all the way to sector 8 and then died when I was told to take out the flagship.
Haven't been able to get back to sector 8 thus far, beginners luck I suppose.

Anyway, it seems like a great game thus far, has a lot of replay value, love the soundtrack too.

When i saw this on kickstarter, first i thought about buying in, but there was always that nagging feeling that it would not be as complex as i want it to be, so i waited to see some feedback about that 8-) I guess i'll wait for their next installment then...

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

Game is mainly fun in short burts. I play it whenever I have nothing to do or when I dont have much time. Wish it was more complex and had an open galaxy. But hey its fun and that is enough.

Yeah, worth $10 for sure. But I just wish i could say it was worth $20. As much as I like it I feel that I am liking the potential of what it could have been more than what it actually is right now. I wonder if they will consider patching in a free-play mode? Even if it cost a few bucks for the expansion I could deal with that.
