I was thinking it would be interesting to have different combat stances, such as dual weapons, reverse wield, things like that.
Also though having knives/daggers would be cool, and if katars were added that would just be amazing lol. since they're still blades i think they would work, though they'd probably need new animations.
I feel like drawing so I might upload some weapon ideas i have after a while.
[edit] Bladestaves would also be really cool.
[edit 2] A friend suggested sai's, which might be cool but they aren't exactly blades. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sai_%28weapon%29
[edit again] i just remembered the defensive and survival stances, so i guess that part of my topic is kinda moot. But i still think different combat styles would be interesting

Oh... I see. Well i hope he changes his mind in the future, at least. Shields would also add a lot to the combat, imo

Finishing moves would also be cool, a rare chance to finish off an enemy without them merely being unconcious after battle

Finishing moves would be sick. Like if dual wielding was implemented, slice their legs open so they fall to their knees and scissor their head off with your blades. Would be so sick.
