Storage Building Material

I built one of these inside a house, and stored a bunch of building material. Several times they have disappeared, Was wondering where it goes, or is that a bug? Didnt build or anything. Just stored it and it would disappear after some time. lol

mine did that too, I lost a lot of my mats, so I don't use it anymore haha

Did you start a new game and import squad and buildings? Items in containers disappear when you do that. For me, the building material storage would act oddly as well. However, instead of disappearing, it would say that it increased over time, although I tried to use it to see if that amount was real (I only had the one building storage stack and maxed it at 40) and despite telling me that I had 200 materials it only put up a fifth or so of my Outpost IV.

Clearly the building material storage is buggy at the moment.

When you put Building Materials in the Building Materials Storage and you make something, do the materials come from the Storage so that you don't have to carry it on your characters?

Sort of, they're in that pile and your units will automatically go and get some, but you'll need some on someone so that you can start the building project I believe.

The building materials stayed in my container when I imported them, at least until the fateful last time I had imported them. My entire building disappeared then.
