YouTube videos (eventually)

Ok so I'm planning on starting a YouTube channel, my name will be Sooner535 (of course) and ill be playing games like: Minecraft, The Dead Linger, Mount and Blade, Total War Series, Runescape, Kenshi, and basically anything anyone wants to see (including a few random things here and there)

Now here is what I'm wondering:
1. Cap'n Beard Man do you mind me making videos of this fine game? And adding ads to it?
2. How many people would be interested to see Kenshi gameplay, tutorials, etc.?
3. I like the number 3 so ya

Also couldn't freaking think where to put this, I picked general because.... Well it seemed a good idea lol

Also a note: if you guys would subscribe to my channel (Sooner535) ill get these videos up and running ASAP, I want to create experiences with games and I hope you guys will give me a chance, who knows maybe we can add a few more people to the fold of minecraft Kenshi and the dead linger this way

I currently have a computer that can't run Kenshi, so I wold love some professional gameplay AND tutorials of Kenshi. Also, I know about Kenshi by watching videos and the wiki. Oh, and MANY people have made videos of Kenshi, you don't really need Catpain's permission. However ads... you first have to see this before you decide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5274_IRbUVE. And about other gameplays, sure, if you want to. Also I prefer 11 over 3. Why? Will be happy to, also if you'll give me some info I might be able to help you run Kenshi on it (I'm computer savvy) also idk about adds for Kenshi either, I'mma just do it as I'm sure cap'n won't mind I mean we all gotta pay the bills but ill try and stave off on Kenshi videos until he can personally (or a rep) confirm that it's ok

The great bearded one( Chris) likes content (like videos) going up on the internet, because it lets more people know about the game. I would say if your worried just link the site in all the videos to help spread the game.

Ill do as much as I can on my channel, feel free to check my new minecraft wideo which will be up in about eight hours (7:30 CT) also I'm working on a few recording problems with Kenshi, once these are done (1-2 days) it will be out up in 12-24 hours

Its not that thrilling a game but it has been made less thrilling by the absolute GLUT of minecraft content on youtube. You would be far better off attempting to specialise in less overdone games. Especially if you aim to make money off it (which you do since you are putting ads on it).

I do plan on specializing at lesser made videos, I am mostly doing a MC series because I want to and there are a few things in it people still don't cover. I want to make kenshi and the dead linger above anything but MC videos are high on my list as well if you want to see how my video turned out go look it up on my channel Sooner535 is the name. Please note I will be ironing out the glitching, loud noises, lag, and as much as wrong with the first video in the second one

It's not too bad, but the sound is rather annoying and the video could be way better, it's still a medium-high quality video (as said I'm computer savy) and now with the info I got from the first ill be able to make my videos even better:

There is the video, I'd like to know what you guys think, it's MC and after 1-5 of those ill start the Kenshi series as I want that to be my main work, I want all the Kenshi videos to be the best quality I can possibly give out, reason being is I think Kenshi needs more publicity and I don't want my inexperience with videos to make Kenshi look bad, that's why I want to build some experience first

Well everytime I attempt to install Kenshi's demo on Desura, it just says "MFC download error: failed to download tools [7.0]".

what OS you using? Mac or Windows? (or linux?) and which version of the software? Also if your using Google Crome or Firefox I had trouble downloading it, I switched to IE to download it and it worked fine, you might try that

Also my video was updated with a few annotations to clear up some stuff, hope that helps the video

I use windows 8, and I'm using google chrome. Also, everytime I try to download it on the site or indiedb, it just says it can't download because of some error -.-

Download using Desura, the actual program, see if that works.

ya do that, it will help usually, if not download internet explorer and try it that way. If problem still persists then check your anti virus firewalls, they can do strange things to downloads -.-

My seond video in the MC series is up, feel free to view both, like, and subscribe. I am working on a Kenshi video (want it to look especially fantastic) and it will be out in 1-3 days (if more than sorry but I will try to get it in that time frame as I started up back to work today lol)

Some tutorial videos are a great idea. I thought about doing it myself, and if I weren't too lazy, this is how I might do it/what I'd like to see:

I'd envision an introductory video 5-10 minutes going over what you can do in the game... almost like a review. Followed up by several 1-2 minute videos showing the finer points of the game. Perhaps even a construction set editor walkthrough if you're into that. After that, I'd watch some playthroughs where you have a quirky goal or starting situation.

Kenshi's a bit of a slow game at times, so some is probably required. Unless you're good at keeping people entertained with talking .
