I am willing to bet these are covered somewhere so forgive me my lack of google-fu today....and thanks for any answers!
1. I have done all the research I can on the first tier bench but when I go to build-->tech I still only see the first bench listed there. I did notice the tabs at the top and have researched every single one all the way through. Am I missing a necessary building?
2. I have built a shack and sales bench and set both the shack and my outpost to "public". I can see trade caravans approaching but they seem to stop at the slope right below the building and mass up there. I know they can get up the slope as I have lured bandits towards them and watched their guards run up the hill to engage them. I keep thinking im missing some setting somewhere. I also built a er...saloon? and have a functioning rum distillery in it but apparently they don't drink either.
3. I have made a bunch of hemp into cloth material but cannot seem to find the next step in crafting it into clothing. I am guessing its related to my issue in problem #1 but just wanted to make sure it was implemented.
4. Is there a way to get one of my guys to automatically empty the finished building materials out of my processor (other than when I am currently constructing something)?
5. I am up to 11 total guys now and I have noticed more than one has an arm or something that hangs limp at their side. The health of the limb is 99 and even though I have two "doctors" with splint kits I cant seem to ever get them healed up beyond that. Is it a permanent injury?
6. If i save up and buy one of the buildings inside of a town can I set up a shop counter there to sell my grave robbing spoils?
Thanks!
Yet more noobie questions....
1. Have you built a small house yet?
2. Selling through player owned shops has not been implemented yet.
3. Could be wrong on this one because I haven't tried it, but I don't think fabric crafting is implemented either (though there is a fabric loom you can build).
4. If you have the appropriate storage box built, they will. They empty the finished product out of the machines when it hits 4 or 5 items.
5. That's a bug. The workaround is to let his arm get wounded to below 50 and then heal him again.
6. See answer 2

--Yes I have, although I do not have the research bench in it...it just dawned on me this very second that maybe I can upgrade the bench like I did my stone processor....

thanks! Extra storage it is hehe

Ya I have a stockpile of fabric at this point, it actually makes a good profit for the time invested, and the markup is 116% in the area im in so I might just continue to make them to sell off. Less wound intensive than hunting ninjas at this point.
4. If you have the appropriate storage box built, they will. They empty the finished product out of the machines when it hits 4 or 5 items.
I saw that box and was wondering, thank you

One man arm(y) it is!

You probably wont be able to upgrade it, because mk 2 is a significantly larger unit, and i dont THINK it will fit in the small shack, which is probably what you have it in, like I do.Danarchist wrote:1. Have you built a small house yet?

Yes, it needs to have at least normal house size to accommodate it.Aku wrote:You probably wont be able to upgrade it, because mk 2 is a significantly larger unit, and i dont THINK it will fit in the small shack, which is probably what you have it in, like I do.Danarchist wrote:1. Make sure to have spare power output, as it does research automatically an requires power.
To give a few more precise information:
3. For Building materials, stones, and flour, there is a storage box designed, and your worker will automatically empty the machine to bring the materials to the corresponding storage box.
However, for cloth material, rum, and bread, there is no such storage box, and as a result, you have to manually order your worker to move the products from the machine to a storage chest.
5. The fact that it shows only 99 actually has no effect on the person's efficiency or ability to act. Chris confirmed that this is just a display error and that the health of the arm is probably 99.99 and just displaying 99.

One thing I thought I would add on here for anyone that comes across this post later:
The workers will move materials to and from their specific storage chests, but I have ran into a couple times where after a bandit raid my worker ran up to the stone proccessor, grabbed the building materials out, ran to the door of the building with the chest in it....and just stood there.
Save and reload seems to fix the issue
