Pray that they have harpoon pistols. And harpoon rifles and turrets, just imagine the epicness... in fact, thoose harpoon guns must have been invented in the port cities, maybe in ones that were often atacked or were atacking often.

Example: the great port town of Sustrack was one of the most prosperous of the Desert. However, when it's kingdom entered war, the other kingdom was the main suplier of bows. Worst, another kingdom joined the enemy kingdom, which developed advanced siege weapons and crossbows. Having no access to range weapons to so then their archers wold fire upon their enemies, and surprisingly they didn't had any marine academy or school of some sort.

Then, they remembered: the harpoons. The tools they used to hunt the sea monsters that were big and EXTREMELY UNFAIR AND UNREALISTICALY reproduced quite alot, fortunately they weren't as big as whales. They transformed this hunting tool into a weapon of war, one that met a huge success. Even though crossbows were powerfull, heavy armour... kicked ass. At the cost of ALOT of speed, it shruged off many crossbow bolts and arrows. However, the harpoon had a long range and if you took heavy armour against a turret, you could start saying your prayers (funny of me saying that, since I'm atheist). However, after the war was over, the kingdoms had conquered some land, but then the other kingdoms made multiple sanctions and prohibited all trade with thoose kingdoms since the defenders were famous traders and to fix the lack of trading problem they accepted trading with each other. The two kingdoms, to gain more money, looted all of the land they had gained and destroyed any harpoon-related weapon and tool, thus heavy armour was used once again. The harpoons are still being produced, although on a smaller scale because the two kingdoms also prohibited any kind of harpoon-like tool or weapon.

But that does not mean that it was ignored, the cheaper versions of other kingdoms are widely used, and the harpoons used by the original kingdom have been vastly improved, and any kingdom wold LOVE to have mercenaries that use harpoons of the sea kingdom.

And thus that is my suggestion.

Hah! Sounds great.

I just took a necro'd thread that should have stayed dead and given it a use again, given the fact I made the type of mod that was originally meant for that thread. Seeing as there was someone wanting a God Mode mod, and they necro'd the thread for it, and I had just made said mod, I figured, "Eh, what the heck?"

Now all I have to do is figure out how to give a character a weapon from the startup and actually have the stats match what they say in the editor, because last time, it failed.
