I was never personally into ninjas or samurai or anime or Dragonball Z or <insert other Asian influenced thing here besides Chinese Buffets> and not that it's bad but I'm sure I'm not the only person here that would like other content as well.

The game is awesome. I am absolutely loving the hell out of the guy making this game. Finally somebody who is making a great game which is going to be fun and replayable for a long time and no typical dungeon dwelling bullcrap.

I was wondering if either through modders or maybe even in development itself, if there's a chance for a more European style of weapons/armor as well - particularly the whole Roman/Greek thing. I feel it would be a very welcoming future addition to what is already a great gaming concept.

Katanas are cool, shields and spears are better :-P

I chose to insert Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Variety is indeed the spice of life. Not enough games make use of the Flamberges or their two-handed cousins in my opinion.

You could always request this in the mod section and ask modders, spears will be in the game (I think) so that wont be hard and the armor, weapons and buildings will likely need retexturing in the mod. I don't believe there will be shields so that will be tougher. Also try looking in the mod forum to see if the medieval conversion is still getting traction. The base game though is supposed to have samurai influences so it's unlikely you'd see this by the creator.
