Sometimes when the Characters get knock out the bodys drop trought the Ground and don't get up again till you take medic care of them. But you can't do it since you can't reach them.

This is the bug reports sub-forum.

I've seen this bug as well, doesn't seem to have an apparent player-driven cause.

Unfortunately without a method to reproduce bugs like this can be troublesome to squash, however you should be able to import game/reset squad positions to get everyone grouped together. It isn't the easiest solution, but it is a solution for the time being until the cause of units falling through the world mesh can be identified. Unfortunately the problem has persisted to some degree for quite awhile, however it should be a fairly rare occurrence and should not necessitate a squad reset very often.

If anyone can find a specific location where it is more likely to happen, or a way of regularly causing the issue it could be addressed more readily.

I too have seen this bug, however, i believe the cause to be "uneven terrain". I most often see it on: mountains, hills, dunes, and places were the terrain is at an angle. Because the gate to my new base is on uneven ground, i see this a lot. Reloading seems to make the bodies return however.

I had an area in the SE of the map (down in the little valleys) where the characters walked down under the mesh (to the top of there heads) then the walked out. like the ground collision detect was under the mesh, but the ai path was fine.
