OK this is NEW I dislike the moderators for being unoriginal and thinking Idea of coefficient x+1=x+2 when they have something slightly hinting of varying of their ideas. I'll admit the dune one was the same. Perhaps grouping the different thoughts into or quoting in another page I would think is more appropriate to show what you mean when it is already there. Then you can reduce the amount of posts. That's what I would do at least.

I think free running should be a skill in the game. It would create some variance in running. It's simple to add too. I bet you could add a shift point system where
X
____________
------------------ lift
-----------------X-
--------------------
X------------X-----X on a wall each x is a click up to 5 points and you receive fall damage if you fail. It is dependent on your climbing and running/athletics skill. This would also let you do flips and backflips during a fight (for added coolness factor.) I think the flips already have been suggested though.

But free running seems to be in spirit of the game as it has a lot of running already. Despite seeing ninjas they really aren't ninja like without the cool moves. This would also create a dynamic shift in fighting styles which perhaps someone already suggested. But Free Running is something I think would be a easy add and popular especially in early game, or you steal something. You are surrounded, the only way is up. Another thing about this would be to create it so the guy automatically do it. But Running away from enemies suddenly becomes attractive in early game settings especially when you have no money.

...oh! oh! and imagine the rooftop fights!

It's kind of hard for me to think how free running would be implemented to the game... :? It kind of might work in the beginning but the game seems to be "expanding in scale" all the time. I mean that even though you can play it with one squad member, the game and all new updates still steers you towards building outposts and getting bigger squad and, eventually, army.

I know there will be skill called climbing. Maybe free running could be added like the climbing will be. But I still feel like free running would be so small thing in the finished game it would mostly be annoying.

Sometimes when I see suggestions that are already pretty much suggested already I link them to a forum topic regarding the same thing where they could give their 2 cents or just leave it be if they think they can't add anymore value to the discussion.

But in your case, you had ton of suggestions (which is good) but so many of them was already suggested it would be a lot of work from others to find you the topics. When really it's the suggesters responsibility to use the search and check if it's already suggested.

There's also mentioning about double posting just a few lines lower btw ;)

Although This is fresh. I checked. Kendo is the post there that had some of the 'fighting' styles. ETC but this search thing for minor details.

Free running would almost be automatic. You would right click and it could be done. It's something which is pretty much a feature that would allow some less frustration when the workers can't possibly get around in some terrain or get stuck. It's basically a failsafe as well as for fun reasons.

Assassins creed. Meh.

What the hell are you tlking about? Pathfinding and walls will be useless with freerunning.

No...How would free running really fit? how can you free run in a the dunes?
Free running is being overused a bit in games now imo.
