Sometimes I hire a guy and then I regret it. I don't want them. I want them to be killed. But they don't.
I want to attack him. With my own guys. While I wanted these things I had an idea, to train each other. Which then I also found in the forum but not specifically this.
I think being able to attack your own party members should be added to just close the lack of dismissing.
Maybe this would lead to having a new skill called "Trainer" which increases as you "attack" your teammate and he develops defense skill. Or just add a "Train" feature. Where you hit a dude and he tries to block it. For higher the Trainer skill you have higher the chance that you will stop your attack when he can't block and don't damage him at all. But for lower ranks you will just hit the rookie as much as you hit a bandit. Or much more since he lacks defense.
For Targeting, I think of "Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader"s targeting system which is;
head - higher critical chance, criticals deal more damage and has a chance of knocking opponent unconcious. Lesser hit chance.
body - no side effect
arms - lesser hit chance, criticals has a chance to make enemies drop weapon
legs - lesser hit chance, criticals knock down opponents. They don't die or just lay there for a while. They just get on foot again but this affects them like stun until they get on foot again.
Why am I suggesting a targeting system? Because I hate it when I see a fallen comrade of mine to see he only suffered chest-hits while his opponent has every part of his body on 10~ health and goes unconcious from bleeding. Then eventually dies from bleeding. Literally. -100 blood and dead.
I don't say we should add critical hits and stuff like on Lionheart, Instead you should be able to choose where to focus. But since you are focusing, your opponent will know where you are attacking and so you will suffer a penalty in attack skill. And maybe for you are so focused to attack, you also will suffer a penalty to defense.
But this should lead high skilled people (40~) to just slaughter lesser skilled people (20~) unless the penalties are high enough to make you think twice.
Attacking Party Member, Training and Targeting
You should really read the forum rules and use the search function to see if there are posts on the same topic. There is a post four or five under these asking for training which is the 5th or 6th time that has been asked for and if you search targeting certain body parts you'll find that as well.
Since I end up with stuff whilst writing a topic I just add them to it and i mentioned i know there is training topics already. I was just writing about attacking party member then I thought this would be used as training so I talked about it. And it is about training and attacking people I thought there should be a targeting system so either we hit the same place until someone goes unconcious or simply hit different parts each time so they die from bleeding. This is the reason why I always suggest more than one thing on a post and why there is almost always something similar to stuff I said.

we had a recent one do the same thing, cept he did like 20 feature requests and nearly every single one was already suggested.
He got pissed cause we told him the use search and post in the proper area's.
Your ideas are good but please put them in the proper areas that are already posted. even if your idea is slightly different from the original. it helps prevent forum clutter and keeps the ideas in the same area/topic and that helps the Dev find them.
