I don't know about anybody else, but the decision to make the building speed 2x slower has really lowered my interest in playing this game. It already took long enough to make even a medium house with a full squad of men, now it takes 2x longer.

I know that was a few updates ago, but I haven't even tested the game out again since that decision. Now that I've actually given it a chance, I can honestly say I really disagree with your decision here. The 25% extra research speed is not a good enough trade-off.

It just seemed like a really pointless decision to me. Nobody was complaining about the build speed, to my knowledge. It doesn't even make the game harder- it just makes everything take longer. If it added some extra challenge, sure that might make sense- but it doesn't. It just changes a multiplier, that's it.

In my mind, this discourages starting a base immediately upon a game start (since the assaults are annihilating new players) without having multiple members or at least 1 decent Engineer char.
Once you get multiple people building one structure or a decent Engineer, build speed has hardly been affected.

i have to agree with PnzrNorm on this one.
i have not really noticed a big change in build speed, but then again most my people have a build multiplier of 1.4
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

I agree with PnzrNorm and Hatsune_Neko. Just get some skilled engineers and watch them build anything very fast. Maybe too fast...
