Steam key

Hi, i got my key as a gift from my friend and i can play not using steam/desura, but i want to activate this key in steam, but it's in bad format. My code looks like this XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX. What can i do to activate it in steam ? Or maybe i need to buy a new copy of game ?

Hey Quish, welcome
The format of the code you've given looks correct to me - our codes are just ridiculously long, but should still work. You need to log in to your Steam account and go to Games > Activate A Product On Steam. Let me know if you still have problems ^^

I get a message:
Invalid Product Code
The product code you've entered is not valid.
Please double check to see if you've mistyped your key. I,L and 1 can look alike, as can V and Y, and 0 and O.

Code is correct, beacause i can play non-steam version, but i really wanted to check out this experimental steam build : P

Hey I'm having the same problem! Been keeping up this game every now and than, thought i'd try playing again and I can't seem to activate my code on steam either. I get the same Message as well.
