So, I'm trying to get money for this game and I heard trading could be a good idea. Anybody knows some good trade route for profit?

Best bet, look at what items are being sold and their % . That tells you if it's over or under the standard price. More than 10% under I'd buy, obviously more is better.

Also, consider starting a small hemp farm. Easy money when it's turned to fabric at a loom, and low personnel requirements to get started. If you can afford a small town building, you could even base the loom and storage out of there for expense-free protection.

tradiging is viable but gives good outcome when you have a large party. Remeber that now if you are overencumbered bandits will catch you. Also those backpacks are very expensive in the beginning and they nerf out completely the melee stat for a youn char. So yeah, problem of trading is tht you need to walk between towns, outnumbered, outweaponed and outrunned.

In the beginning the best (not the only, not the most fun, but definitly the best) way to make money is just looting dead bodies near towns.

When you have a large Group there are better ways to make money than trading: just sell medikits you made, explecially a large splintkit is Worth 1500cat average. Also bread and fabrics have a super good value/weight. For fabrics you don't even need power output, just a well, an hemp farm and shack with a fabric loom inside. It's a three men job at max efficiency).

So my 2 cents is that trading is too difficult at the beginning and not worth later, nevertheless kenshi is not about Optimizing stuff but about RP, so i'm glad that a trading system is there.
