The monsters are tough, their fast and can beat you down. But, eventually you get powerful enough and you can just beat them down. Imagine you walking along with your big army seemingly invincible, then a great beast emerges from the sands. World Bosses. This would be an awesome feature, and if its already been planned then I am sorry for posting this. Especially when the huge map comes out and the new terrains are added. It would be an excellent end game goal for anyone. Perhaps killing it would be the end game, or just the way to get to some insane loot only possible to get by defeating the beast. Either way, it would sure be cool to see some massive monsters in the world somewhere, Giant Sand Worms. Swamp Hydras. Just seeing one would be truly remarkable.

Sounds great. I'd love to see a huge monster swimming in the sand, fucking bitches and taking names, being worshipped by tribes and having people sacrificed in their names. The problem is that animating, modeling and programming such a creature in an already complex game is kind of difficult. Maybe if they modified the models and coding of already existing monsters and used the same animations.

But it seems out of place for kenshi. i like your thinking. but the idea that it is unnatural. the game is based around everything being random, and it resembles too many other games. there should be no ultimate boss that is better than anything else. this game is about wilderness. not about Pre-rendered boss locations and big fights that set whenever is convenient. no one thing should be all powerful in kenshi.

unless you work hard for it. then you fight a leviathan and find out you're not all powerful any more.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

Brink, Catun, Clownsteady, Heft and all the other towns Leviathans randomly raze can confirm this. R.I.P.

On topic though, I wouldn't mind a few world bosses of some sorts. Don't have to be monsters, can be just powerful people or clans. A final, late-game challenge for your crew of 5 overpowered and overgeared people. Running around killing people with no resistance becomes a bit boring after a while.

yeah it may get boring at times. but the idea of a world boss or giant finality boss in the game just does not feel right. i don't mind giant factions to fight. but the idea that there is a World "boss" means there is a sense of finality to kenshi. which is not how its going to work. you will be always trying to survive. even if you take down one large faction another will just take its place. its not realistic. you may get max stats. but its all about the idea that this is just survival. nothing more two it. the strongest warrior can be killed by a rock if thrown well enough. its this type of realism that makes kenshi, kenshi. and i just don't think finality like a "boss" has anything to do with it. but that's just my point of view. :D
