Regarding slaves, slavery.

Not so long ago, Chris posted on twitter the message stating, "All you players that think the slavery update will get YOU slaves are in for a nasty surprise". This worries me greatly, as I was under the impression that the game was to allow players to play, "completely free-roaming and open: enjoy the freedom and potential to do whatever you want." If players are not allowed to act in the same manner as NPCs, wouldn't this violate this statement? Or is the ability for the players to own slaves coming along with the Capture and Imprisonment section in the roadmap?

I'd just like to know, especially because Kenshi is a dream game for me, what with the whole "you are not the chosen one", and all that jazz.

I certainly hope so. And even if not, someone would mod it in. Just usually official features are more true to the lore, the gameplay, or the base idea.

Likely just making a mocking statement at the players that still feel god-like in Kenshi and look forward to forcing NPCs to do their autonomous bidding rather than the other way around.

By the sounds of things we may actually not get the ability to have slaves. Though I'm sure it will be modded in if it doesn't get added officially.

did someone tried to attack Slavers guys , take their slavery tools and use it on someone else?

Wanna try it too , but for the moment i'm training my guys , and giving them armor , Can't attack the camp and get the whole of them going into slavery
