yep
plenty of hot fixes upcoming.
think the Dev wants to make this one into the stable build once enough bugs are taken care of.

i like the new UI as well
but.
having issues seeing things, either its my glasses or just everything blending in. and my new glasses won't be here for least two more days. Might need a bit more contrast in future updates.?

but yea it's full of bugs.

I've seen several people saying that they have problems with readability.. and I honestfly have no idea what they are talking about.

I think it's because the text is like a shade of Khaki and the GUI is like a red colour, it blends in with itself. Maybe a lighter version of text is a good idea ? But from what i played I enjoyed it. Single old captain killed an entire squad of starving bandits and didn't die. was the best.

In the 'Gui makeover' blog post it showed an image with the text in varying shades of yellow and orange which i think work perfectly for a nice and easy to read contrast.

I'm sure there's some "newness" effect in action making the UI difficult to adjust to, and I didn't expect this from the preview pics, but I do find it difficult to digest at a glance, which is something the old UI did not suffer from. I hope a happy medium can be found because I do like the aesthetic.

DX11 is nice because things do seem to be running a bit smoother, in spite of the pathing/terrain drains. The launcher has for the first time detected my mobile Nvidia card, but alas it does not show any available resolutions for it. I had to select the Intel chip graphics, select a resolution and force Nvidia override via the Nvidia settings. But it worked fine then.

Also does everyone else have the windows mouse cursor appear over the Kenshi cursor when playing?

Sorry for the semi-bug report here. Congrats on the release, the features really look interesting, especially uniforms - that's something I've wanted in games for AGES. The slavery stuff looks exciting too.

edit - putting the resolution up to 1600x900 and it's easier to read the UI data... maybe more contrast is needed???

Something i found out. Start a game as the freedom seekers. Save the game and load it. you will lose all of the construction materials in your backpacks.

I would be one of the people having trouble making things out. When I crank the Gamma up in my nVidia settings... I can actually make out things in the new GUI better. Cranking up the Gamma has become mandatory every time I start up Kenshi - which is a minor PITA. Since this is primarily a Gamma issue, maybe Kenshi could use a gamma setting itself so I don't have to make every thing else so washed out.

With 0.74.4 at my platter, I found myself late to the party... too late to be considered 'fashionably late'.
PC Specs:
Custom PC - Aurelia NullBox - Gamer/Developer Hybrid Spec
Intel Core i7 6700 3.4 GHz
MSI RX 480 Gaming X 8GB
[Workstation Card Reserved Slot]
32GB RAM
Win 7 Ultimate

The Peanut Butter will be with you, always.
