No mining construction options for 'Freedom Seekers' start

Started "Freedom Seekers" as both a full skeleton party as well as the pre-mades and both have no option for constructing mining buildings. I have started games under every other type of starting option and they all still have the option to make mining buildings.

I think if you research the first stone refining you get the refining machine and the stone quarry as well. Iron mines have been replaced with Iron rocks that are around the sides of hills and can be interacted with directly (also there are copper rocks).

Looks like you are correct about the need to research it first. Any clue why this is only the case in the freedom seekers' start option?

may i ask under which gameversion you started your group since 90.06 i only get 4 members instead of 6 for my squad team

odd. I've been checking it each time since I think .90.2. Start with all 6, just no mining buildings until researched.
