Hey guys,

i have 2 questions about recruiting/getting new squad members

1. does recruits respawn in bars or will they be empty at one day (i heard something about loading a new map with the old squad, but how?). Does respawn any npc?

2. how is it possible to get other new squad members, can i get slaves or a pack animal and how? ^^

They're supposed to respawn afaik but right now they only do if you import your game.

thx for the answer, but what do you mean with "import your game".
Thats the reason why i asked "how?"!

At this point the only way to get new recruits in bars is to import your game. Just be careful to not reset the squad position which is the default option. You will find yourself somewhere between Waypoint and Bad Teeth.

You can buy animals and backpacks for them at the farms but they are a little bit buggy now. Some are mostly closed, some they attack you for no reason and at least one of them will be empty or have all the animals dead around day 15 or less. You can also choose the "Man with a dog" start or how is called.

... but what do you mean with "import your game"...

When you start a game you have several options: continue, load, import - last is your thing. Click it, pick a game you want to import from a save list, and pick options you'd like to apply -reset squad position, import buildings, import research, etc. - that will keep your squad and all their gear but will reset your progress to day 1 and reset all npcs and some buildings in game. Essentially, it's a new game with old squad.

It happen sometimes to me as well, just try to reload the game/ import again.
