There is on changelog to say what has been added etc. which there should be!.
So I will hang around the forum I cant see me taking part in alot of topics unless I can relate but yeh anyway woo the game rocks confusing a tad but good
As I said I don't know if the wiki is kept updated etc. and thank you this seems like a nice placebioggy wrote:Ok well hey I guess lol, I looked at desura seen the way this game was going but one thing it lacks is I don't know if the wiki is up to date.
Yeah, seriously. I think it's because I'm running it on Win 7. A lot of code in games just isn't optimized for that OS. Or maybe it's some visual settings that screw with the game's performance. Not sure.Blxz wrote:HLLivingLoco wrote:I just picked it up today as well. It runs like crap, but I'm very excited to see where it goes.
It's sluggishness, but an overall sluggishness. I'd guess I'm hitting a solid 5-10 FPS. And of course, I expect plenty of buggy gameplay and glitches. The game is only, what, 25% done in terms of raw coding? In fact, I'd be tempted to say it's a pre-alpha, which is even rarer that a developer offers fans the opportunity to try it.Blxz wrote:Do you mean it is sluggish? Or is it glitchy? Because you should expect weird glitchy stuff occasionally, like the camera going through the ground and people getting stuck in weird places and pathfinding being worse than a rat with downs syndrome; that's part of the package at the moment. And sluggishness will happen when going into a building interior and when moving across the loading zones. Give it time and he might be able to make it smoother, maybe.
This IS an alpha after-all. Most game designers don't even allow you to play games in this state.
If it is something else then please describe it. We might be able to help.
i dont think you understand the concept of an alpha. to be in alpha it just has to run, it doesnt matter if its slow/glitchy/unstable its still an alpha. pre alpha you wouldnt be able to play it.HLLivingLoco wrote:It's sluggishness, but an overall sluggishness. Kenshi, now in pre-steve testing. sounds alrightBlxz wrote:Alpha, pre-alpha...call it whatever you want. Call it steve if that makes you feel better.
As for the sluggishness... What are the full stats of your system? There must be something holding you back. I have windows seven and the only time I experienced sluggishness was when running the zombie mod with hundreds of guys running around over a huge area. The rest of the real game is fine even at top speed with my guys fighting an entire town.
