Blender freezes when exporting to .mesh

Everytime this file is exported as an .mesh blender will freeze. I dont get why, several other ppl dont know why either.

I did put a lot of work into it, so it would be great to get it back. :/

We tried a lot, and even previous saves are unexportable.

It was freezing because your mesh has over 22500 polygons. I suggest significantly reducing this.
I have updated the blender plugin with some optimisations to not take over half an hour to process this mesh.
