Crossbow recruits? Like Headshot

I'm just wondering with this new crossbow patch, will gunner recruits be considered a crossbow expert as well as turrets? Fundamentally shouldn't some skill cross over?

Yeah, they should.
Like Green has something like 70 on turrets, but 0 or 1 on perception, precision and crossbows, and that makes me sad

Makes sense, although the two skills aren't completely identical, so and you won't automatically become an even apprentice-bowman if you've shot plenty of heads from behind the turrent. But perception should indeed be higher if either is trained by a recruit, which should be enough to pass as a certain proficiency in the other skill
