Slavers pile around a wounded slave but never first aid, they keep showing medic as goal but it stops as soon as it starts.
The sho battai jail is filled with dead prisoners after about 3 days, guards aren't healing the bandits they bring in.

It seems this does help to find out the cause of all the allied faction in fighting though.
The bandits don't seem to change faction once captured by slavers so if any group gets aggro while those slaves are all standing around the street waiting on their leader to heal someone, the other faction be it samuri or shinobi thieves or tech hunters will go and attack those slaves.
This causes the slavers to attack whoever attacked the slave and this cascades into a major war in the uc city.
This started when I saw just slavers fighting samuri after the samuri killed a recent captured slave near the gates while fighting rebel farmers, later I saw a tech hunter guard kill a slave after throwing a starving vagrant out of the store so then slavers attacked him which caused the samuri to also start attacking the tech hunters even while they were already attacking the slavers. A few more roaming tech hunters came into town and had to defend their faction, and at some point the shinobi thieves and the shop guards were all fighting and I don't know who was fighting who anymore. After a couple of days there was no one left in Stoat except samuri, they were all dead in the jail cells so I had to leave because there was no one left to buy my grog.

That's the best end of a warstory i've ever heard.
Also bumping since what you've discovered feels very important.
I can als confirm that captors not healing their captured is indeed a thing. I could be wrong, but i think i've seen it with Holy Nation in one of their mines.
