Recently I have been experimenting with freeing slaves from Rebirth, and have noticed something odd about the bounties this invariably seems to give my characters. Some examples:
1) Back in the 0.98.45 release, I had a slave start where one of the characters somehow got a 2 million cat bounty. Before escaping, this character had removed manacles and opened cages of other slaves, and was noticed doing so.
2) Just now in the latest experimental release, I was doing the same thing in a solo character game, and somehow got a 1,318,000 cat bounty after being spotted while removing a slaves shackles (the second set I'd removed up to that point).
3) A previous game (think the previous release), I'd done something similiar and over various attempts got 500 cat, or 1000 cat or 10000 cat bounties.
Something seems very odd about the bounty amounts being assigned for these crimes.
[0.98.60] Bounties for freeing slaves seem very random
Further "committing crime" actions added much smaller bounty increments to the total bounty. Amounts that looked like what I was expecting to see, like +2500 cats added.
I'm wondering if the bounty the character starts with isn't being properly initialised, and so starting with whatever is in the uninitialised memory.
