Farms not working

I planted the farm, it grew, and is ready to harvest. except my guys wont harvest it, they just oscillate between aimless and operating machine.

yes i checked the inventory, both the farm inventory and character inventory is empty. they just wont harvest.

i also imported my game, and that had no effect. very disheartening for new player

Scratch that. Farms work fine you need to check the biome for the place you are growing crops in. Greenfruit will not grow in a desert.

Having same sort of issue. Fertility nd yield are in the green. Farms work for a bit, then the ground changes and becomes dry and cracked even though there is plenty of water. Players unable to go into cracked ground. Becomes unpassable terrain. I cant even force players onto it with a bunch of beasts. I cant disassemble farm, I have to destroy it. This leaves a bunch of wheat and cotton scattered and players cant get to it

I managed to reset the terrain by building small shacks over it then deconstructing them. Will work on this a bit more later. Large farms seem to be working ok. Will see if glitch happens when I upgrade to XL.
Yup. Was right. Upgrading to XL farm causes glitch.
