Now, I know the plans for Kenshi is for one to have the possibility of building your own town and get your own business and such, however, There are borderlines as to how wealthy one can get from simple trade and peace.
It is just about inevitable for anyone in games to keep peace. Just about every gamer i know, Would look over a world and go, "Ok When can I conquer it?"
And it made me think, Will Conquest actually be a thing? Cause I know that Raiding a town will be realistic, however, If one are to conquer a town, then it would be stupid to kill the civilians. One wants to defeat the enemy and then reap the rewards!
My Question is basically, Will you yourself, and In theory Each faction, have the chance of conquering the world? Having a Character title going "King of the world" Or whatever one wants to call it...
(I personally would call it "Union Leader of the Great Desert Soviet Republic" ... My country would be called "United Lands of the Greater Desert Soviet Republic" XD ULGDSR UNITE!)
((Just because I can! XD))

one you establish a town, maybe you can be hired by other npcs to do missions (if that is the route in which you would like to take) and as your town grows in size and stature, harder; more complex jobs can be given.
if you chose the life of a mercenary and just rent a building from an npc city, then you get missions based on that profession. (does that make sense?)

If I recall the environment is supposed to be dynamic. So different factions will war and claim cities. As for gaining a tile after conquering all......that is up to your imagination I do not think Kenshi will present you with any title. IDK. Anyway I plan on ruling the world by starting a chain of Crazy Vasili's wacky discount item stores (They will be very inconvenient!

In current news, Apple inc. had a higher GDP than the Country of Poland (and several others).

Indeed even Belgium, Sweden, Malaysia have lower GDP, but who normally cares about this, you shouldn't measure 2 different subjects heh. The only positive aspect would be that Apple's management is doing a superior job. But for how long? There's always a recession in the end.toaster Assassin wrote:In current news, Apple inc. had a higher GDP than the Country of Poland (and several others).

you mean to tell me that people will stop buying I-pods!Memphis said:There's always a recession in the end.
Usually, when a company/country/faction becomes too big it becomes too hard to manage. Too much going on at once, and the more resources needed to be distributed. Kinda like the rise and (What I think is) the fall of Microsoft.(Not complete fall, but they are not what they used to be)

I use the antiquated Palm treo 750 (v?). It is a brick, with a whopping 350 MHz processor.
(Oh, and about 100 Mb of storage
