Something like this:

Not only would it make your character looks smexy and special, perhaps your character would have a certain intimidation on the battlefield, or to slaves. A master with sabres with a 5 foot Ringed with a golden dragon around his portrait would instantly make slaves do whatever he says and make weak people such as hungry bandits be slow to attack him, or run away altogether. Of course this would have no effect against anyone except people incredibly weaker than him and slaves, as I'm sure a soldier would be trained not to run like a sissy the moment they see a master swordsman.
However, seeing the person slice up your friends right before your very eyes might make you run in fear. I guess what I'm saying is it would be kinda cool to have a decal when you reach max stats for something, just so you can go "Cool, max stats I feel accomplished," or it would be easier to distinguish him from your other troops. I think intimidation would be a great addition to the game, and I think it would fit nicely especially since there will be slaves. But I literally would be happy with just a gold star telling me "Good job, zibathy," as a sort of pat on the back.
I mean, just imagine a regiment of nothing but godly swordsmen all moving in column formation upon a company of rookies with low skills. They'd be garbed in all black and be carrying nothing but their weapons, faces hidden under the darkness of their straw hats. I dunno. Seems neat to me. And seeing that on the battlefield would make some people flee.
I'm sure this will be poorly received and it probably sounds stupid to most of you, but I might as well try. Meh.
Edit: Maybe make it so that weaker factions like Hungry Bandits only attack when there's either only a few 'Masters' in a group or when it's 2:1 against them. I feel like this kinda makes sense, because who in their right mind would, say, charge up to a 120 kg construction worker and try to pick a fight?
