– Lead Programmer

As a programming lead you will play an essential part in driving Kenshi 2, an in development single player game being created in Unreal Engine through production, to release and live operation. You will be responsible for leading and managing the technical team of 4 programmers, as well as any technical support necessary for the art team. Work will be based in our Bristol office, so please only apply if you are local to the area or can happily relocate. Visa sponsorship and relocation packages are available for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Development experience in a similar role
  • Excellent C++ programming skills, with excellent knowledge of object oriented development
  • Project management skills
  • Team Management experience including production schedules and technical documentation
  • Creative, innovative, and conscientious in solving complex technical problems
  • Familiarity with a common scheduling, task and issue tracking tool (Jira, MS Project, Basecamp, Redmine etc)
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable:

  • Advanced knowledge/experience developing games with Unreal
  • Strong familiarity with Unreal 4 toolchains.
  • In-depth knowledge of different software development methods such as Test Driven Development, Unit Testing, Agile, etc
  • Ability to share technical experience, improving the skills of the team members in your area.
  • A curious person who learns and improves their professional skills.

– Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you will work closely with senior management to provide administrative support. You will play a pivotal role in helping the directors to make best use of their time, primarily supporting the company with administrative and secretarial work.

The ideal candidate will be a brilliant multitasker, able to stay organised and manage priorities across different projects. You will be part of a small team, and so every day will be varied. You will need to be adaptable and flexible, willing to work on any unexpected tasks that might crop up. Work will be based in our Bristol office, so please only apply if you are local to the area or can happily relocate.

Requirements:

  • Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence from distributors, customers, potential partners.
  • Managing diaries and organising meetings. Reminding the directors and senior staff of important tasks and deadlines.
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation. Helping to arrange conferences.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems, particularly health & safety.
  • Immigration Visa sponsorship duties and compliance.
  • Managing contracts and signing off paperwork.
  • Overseeing and contracting freelancers and other services.
  • Accounting, banking and investment: Reconciliation via Xero, paying bills and issuing invoices.
  • Staff payroll, HR and record keeping.
  • Collating and filing expenses.
  • Conducting research on behalf of the manager.

Desirable:

  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in HR.
  • Experience with Xero.
  • Excellent time management skills and reliability.
  • Strong communication skills.
